Gratitude. What do we know about it? We may have been urged to be on our best behavior, to have good manners – to say please, say thank you, pardon me, and the rest. We may have gratitude for a few things in our lives and attitude and bitterness towards the rest. Do we ever consider the possibility that no matter what the situation, there is always something to be grateful for? A thought to consider: if we want to receive and take anything from others, we are limited in what we receive. We cannot control what someone might give us. But if we want to give those same things we want to receive, there is no limit. Gratitude is a powerful thing to develop in times of need. Whether our situation is comfortable, or tough, there is always room to flourish when we have a grateful heart.
